I hope your holiday went well! Mine did. I’m dealing with a lot of headaches lately which messes a lot with my clean eating resolve. It isn’t because I don’t want to, but because I’m often nauseous with bad headaches and it makes it hard to eat. Then all I want is really bland food and often sweet food. That’s usually cereals. It’s easy to make and easy to eat.
I did did a lot of clean cooking over the holidays. I made an amazing wheat Berry salad, which I will need to perfect before sharing the recipe. I made and shared my wheat seed and grain bread. I hope the recipients enjoyed it. I also shared my jams and jellies I made over the holidays. I made a lot of flavored butters, my favorite was pumpkin spice honey butter with fresh whipped butter and local raw honey and organic pumpkin. our evening meals often aren’t shared as much because we are boring eaters using the crock pot a lot, but maybe at some point I will remember and take photos of that too. Otherwise it’s a lot of salads, vegetables, organic meat, and sweet or white potatoes. I also like polenta made with fresh ground corn, but my husband doesn’t for some reason.
