Unlike some other personal trainers, I have been there. I am not a hard-body who was born with a barbell in one hand and a protein bar in the other. I struggled for years with obesity and a sedentary lifestyle. But I made a decision to take myself on a whole new journey, and you can too! Hey Tory –
Just updating my favorites folder this morning, and ran across your msteechur.com website. Reminded me of you (of course). It was fun to pop-in and see what you have been up to. WOW… as usual! You are/were always so inspiring.
As for me… it took me awhile, and a very difficult pregnancy to see I needed to change something, and I was beings stupid and irresponsible with my life, and unfair to the people in my life that needed me (my husband of course, but now also my son, almost 2). I want him to be proud of me – not embarrassed – and I want to be a healthy good example for him, so I started back to Weight Watchers meeting in October and never looked back. I have lost 57 lbs so far, and have about that much more to get to my goal. I am currently at my lowest weight I can remember since high school. CRAZY! Anyways… just wanted to say hi and thanks as usual for being a great inspiration to me and lots of others.
